TestDuties: Putnam/Northern Westchester BOCES anticipates operating a 6-week ESY Program for students with disabilities from July 1, 2024 through August 9, 2024. Art Teacher candidates are needed to provide instruction to school aged students. Must have the ability to function as a positive and contributing member of our BOCES team.To begin July 1, 2024 (Only those who can work the full 6-week program and those who are available to attend the ESY Orientation on June 4, 2024 at 3:00 PM need apply).Qualifications: Appropriate New York State Education Department certification in Art.Characteristics Desired: Extensive knowledge of instructional approaches for students with autism, emotional/behavioral disorders and/or multiple disabilities. Must be driven, organized and have the ability to positively manage students.
