Job Title: Biology Teacher Overview The Biology Teacher is responsible for delivering comprehensive and engaging instruction in biological sciences to high school students. This full-time, 10-month position involves designing curriculum-aligned lesson plans, fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment, and assessing student progress to ensure academic success in the sciences. Responsibilities Plan, prepare, and deliver instructional activities that facilitate active learning in biology. Develop lesson plans and instructional materials that adapt to varying student learning styles and needs. Manage student behavior in the classroom by establishing and enforcing supportive rules and procedures. Instruct and monitor students in the proper use of equipment, materials, and scientific laboratory apparatus. Observe, evaluate, and grade student performance, assignments, and laboratory work in a timely manner. Maintain accurate and complete records of student progress and development as required by school policies. Collaborate with colleagues, administrators, and parents to support student achievement and well-being.
