Job descriptionDescription:New York Therapy Placement Services has an exciting opportunity for a part-time pediatric physical therapist to join our rapidly growing clinical team at NYT Kids Pediatric Therapy Center in Farmingdale. Our newly expanded state-of-the-art facility features fully equipped gym space, multiple small treatment rooms, a sensory room and a collaborative environment where you will be supported by a team of multidisciplinary clinicians. The ideal candidate is passionate about making a difference in the lives of young children. He/she will provide services and evaluations for children from birth through early elementary age and will be covered by the NYTPS DOH letter for EI cases. There is potential for growth to a full-time position for the 25-26 school year!Responsibilities:Conduct evaluations and assessments to develop individualized treatment plans.Develop comprehensive and individualized treatment plansProvide treatment sessions in a supportive and engaging environment.Collaborate with families and other professionals to enhance each child’s development.Document progress and adjust treatment plans as needed.Qualifications:Valid NYS License in Physical TherapyExperience working with young children, particularly in EI or CPSE settings, is a plus.Experience implementing IEP goals and objectives related to Physical TherapyStrong communication and interpersonal skills.Passion for helping children reach their developmental goals.Benefits:Collaborative and supportive team environment.Access to a fully equipped therapy gym.Opportunities for professional development and growth.School calendar: Off during school breaks/holidays and off last few weeks in August (work 6-week summer program).After school hours availableOpportunity for growth to a full-time position for 25-26 school year!If you are enthusiastic about making a positive impact in the lives of young children and their families, we would love to hear from you!
