NYTPS is seeking dedicated and passionate full time occupational therapists or COTAs to join our new NYT Kids Clinic in Farmingdale, NY. Our brand-new state-of-the-art facility features a fully equipped gym and a collaborative environment where you will be supported by a team of experienced clinicians. The ideal candidate is passionate about making a difference in the lives of young children. The OT will provide services and evaluations for children from birth through early elementary age and will be covered by the NYTPS DOH letter for EI cases. The mission of our agency is to support families and children with obtaining high quality services to achieve their fullest potential!Responsibilities:Conduct evaluations and assessments to develop individualized treatment plans.Develop comprehensive and individualized treatment plans.Provide treatment sessions in a supportive and engaging environment.Collaborate with families and other professionals to enhance each child’s development.Daily/quarterly and annual documentation requirements including session notes, progress reports and annual reviews.Document progress and adjust treatment plans as needed.Qualifications:Valid NYS License /certification in Occupational TherapyExperience working with young children, particularly in EI or CPSE settings, is a plus.Experience Implementing IEP goals and objectives related to Speech TherapyStrong communication and interpersonal skills.Passion for helping children reach their developmental goals.Experience in sensory integration a plus.Benefits:Collaborative and supportive team environment.Access to a fully equipped therapy gym.Opportunities for professional development and growth.School calendar: Off during school breaks/holidays and off last few weeks in August (work 6-week summer program).Option to work during school breaks to boost income as Fee for Service provider (additional income on top of salary).401 KHealth BenefitsVision and Dental InsuranceFor over 30 years New York Therapy Placement Services has been a leader in providing therapy services and special education throughout Nassau & Suffolk counties and all five boroughs of New York City.
