The Admissions Placement Specialist (APS) is crucial in guiding prospective families through the admissions process and ensuring they receive comprehensive information about Tiegerman programs and services. This position requires a proactive individual who can effectively communicate and engage with families while managing various administrative tasks. The APS will work closely with Admissions Departments to streamline the enrollment process and enhance the overall student admissions experience. The ideal candidate will have a background in education with some marketing experience. Master’s Degree in Education or a similar field. This position has the availability to be part-time or full-time. PT salaries for the position will be prorated from the FT salary based on the number of hours worked. Benefits are eligible for a part-time position at least 28 hours/week.Duties- Educate prospective families about available programs, admission requirements, and enrollment procedures- Manage and oversee enrollment projects from initiation to completion, ensuring timelines are met-Must be willing to travel to meet with prospective families (NYC and surrounding areas)- Must be flexible to meet with families in the evening (if applicable)- Conduct public speaking engagements at community events to promote educational opportunities- Market programs effectively through various channels to attract potential students- Perform administrative tasks including data entry, record keeping, and maintaining student files-Other tasks as assigned by supervisorSkills- Strong ability to educate others clearly and effectively- Proficient in project management techniques to oversee multiple initiatives simultaneously- Excellent communication skills (written and spoken) for presentations and community outreach- Strong marketing acumen to promote programs effectively within the community- Exceptional administrative skills with attention to detail in documentation and reportingThis role is ideal for individuals who are passionate about education and dedicated to helping students succeed in their education goals.Tiegerman is an EEO and AA employer
