We are looking for a dedicated Early Childhood Leave Replacement Teacher to join our Elementary/Pre School through June 2023 with a possibility of future placement. Tiegerman is a special needs program servicing children from preschool through high school. At Tiegerman, our mission is to identify children with language and autism spectrum disorders early to provide educational programs which will prepare them for a world filled with words, sentences, stories and messages. **Must have COVID 19 vaccine**Must have SWD 1-6Responsibilities:Supervise students in the classroom and all other areas of the school buildingRead, understand and implement each student’s Individualized Education PlanParticipate in the development of Individualized Education Plans to address the needs of individual students and annual CPSE/ transition meetingsOrganize curriculum and instruction around developmentally appropriate thematic unitsAdapt instruction and materials to meet the individual needs, strengths and interests of all studentsConduct ongoing assessment of student progress toward learning objectives and individual goals in order to inform instruction and provide feedback to students, parents, administrators and school districtsWrite and submit lesson plans, unit plans, annual classroom reports and other assigned paperwork in accordance with established guidelines and schedulesAdminister annual assessments to all students and accurately interpret and report test scoresManage student behavior in the classroom according to the established classroom management practices and Behavior Intervention PlansMaintain the confidentiality of student records and information in accordance with FERPA and school policiesReport incidents (i.e., accidents, unsafe conditions, suspected abuse, etc.) for the purpose of maintaining the health and welfare of students and the safety of the school environment in accordance with the state regulations and school policiesParticipate in various staff meetings as scheduled (i.e., student “staffings,” transdisciplinary meetings, teacher meetings, etc.)EEO & AA employer
