VACANCY NOTICE SUMMER PROGRAMMING POST DATE: June 4, 2026 QUALIFICATIONS: NYS certified in grade level or subject area, preference given to Taconic Hills CSD employees. Preference will be given to candidates who commit to assignment for duration of the program. RESPONSIBILITIES: Classes to be small groups, age-appropriate, and will be staffed dependent upon student enrollment and academic needs. Final records on student progress monitoring and skills/content taught will need to be submitted at the end of the program. Plus an additional 12-18 hours per person for pre-program / team planning prior to program start. This program will integrate all main content areas while providing a safe and healthy social-emotional learning environment for the students. Students will travel to local sites that have a great connection to the arts, history and the environment. They will experience learning outside the walls of the school using their mind and body to connect to their peers, community, and wider world. It is anticipated that there will be 5-6 travel days throughout the program. Qualifications: NYS teaching certification, preference given to Taconic Hills CSD employees.
