VACANCY NOTICE SUMMER PROGRAMMING POST DATE: June 4, 2026 QUALIFICATIONS: NYS certified in grade level or subject area, preference given to Taconic Hills CSD employees. Preference will be given to candidates who commit to assignment for duration of the program. RESPONSIBILITIES: Classes to be small groups, age-appropriate, and will be staffed dependent upon student enrollment and academic needs. Final records on student progress monitoring and skills/content taught will need to be submitted at the end of the program. Pay Rate: 30 hours at $40/hr Program Details: The ESY program will provide targeted academic and social-emotional support in a structured, supportive classroom environment. A key focus of the program is helping students maintain and build upon progress made during the school year, while continuing to work toward IEP goals. Staff will support consistent skill development to ensure students are prepared for a strong and successful start to the Fall 2026 school year. Responsibilities: Delivering instruction aligned to students’ IEP goals Collaborating with support staff and related service providers Maintaining accurate documentation of student progress Creating a positive, structured learning environment Qualifications: NYS teaching certification, preference given to Taconic Hills CSD employees. Candidates must be available according to the summer program calendar July 6 – August 14, 2026 6-week programs, 4-5 hours per day (program dependent) for teaching staff. Plus an additional 12-18 hours per person for pre-program / team planning prior to program start. Extended School Year Program July 6 – August 14 Monday thru Friday 7:30AM – 12:30PM
