Duties DescriptionProvide primary health care to youth in collaboration with a licensed physician. Assess the physical and psychosocial status of youth by means of interview, health history, physical examination, and diagnostic tests. Prescribe drugs, devices, and immunizing agents. Perform health examinations in accordance with the practice agreement and practice protocols. Additional duties will be discussed in detail during the interview.Minimum QualificationsTransfer: One year of permanent competitive or 55b/c service in this title or in a title eligible for 70.1 transfer.OROpen to the Public: Licensed and currently registered to practice as a Nurse Practitioner of Family Health in New York State. Must maintain a valid New York State license and registration. Preferred Qualifications: one year of post licensure clinical experience.
