The mission of the Center for Adult and Community Services is to build pathways for our students to improve their lives and take their careers to new levels. In this position, the instructor will work directly with adult English as a New Language students to provide hands-on and lecture lessons in IC3 with the goal of students earning certification. Support in contextualized English language instruction will be provided by a certified teacher. Our Adult Literacy Program opens doors for those seeking to earn their high school equivalency diploma, improve their English language skills, or pass the U.S. Citizenship test. QUALIFICATIONS: New York State Certification in Adult education or K – 12.Must be familiar with Certiport IC3 curriculum and have success in teaching computer technology and digital literacy.Experience in teaching adults and English language learners preferred.
