Gather, interpret and analyze assessment data for use in writing psychological reports, drafting IEPs, FBAs, and BIPs. Collect quantitative and qualitative data for use in counseling sessions and program recommendations. Conduct and complete social/emotional histories as needed or requested. Maintain case records on assigned students. Recommend student placement and programs. Facilitate individual and/or group counseling sessions, as required by IEPs. Consistently collaborate and communicate with teaching teams, principal, social workers, school counselors, parents/guardians, and district personnel. Participate in/conduct case conferences and CSE meetings. Utilize digital platforms to maintain confidential student reports and records. Participate in the intake and transition processes for students. Work collaboratively with personnel from adult and community agencies regarding transition, vocational services, and resource procurement. Attend staff, professional, and inter-agency meetings. Assist with in-service training of school personnel. Participate fully in student crisis de-escalation. QUALIFICATIONS: New York State School Psychologist Certification Required New York State License and Doctorate preferred At least three years of experience as a School Psychologist preferred Excellent speaking, writing, and listening skills
