QUALIFICATIONS:Appropriate New York State Teaching Certification (Students with Disabilities Grades 1-6 or Special Education Grades 1-6)Ability to work as a member of a collaborative team to design, deliver and assess high quality lessons to elementary students with diverse learning needs.Up-to-date knowledge and understanding of the Next Generation Learning Standards.Understanding of, and the ability to contribute to the writing of IEP’s, FBA’s and CIP’s.Knowledge and understanding of the identification of student-specific data collection and use to inform instructional planning decisions.Experience with students with various handicapping conditions required.
