POSITION: Elementary Social Worker DESCRIPTION: Stillwater Central School District is looking for a social worker with knowledge and skills to support students, teachers and systems through the implementation of behavior supports, crisis management and building level counseling. This individual should possess skill in student observation, classroom dynamics and modeling and coaching of positive behavior strategies. Candidates must have experience with coordinating Functional Behavior Assessments and development of Behavior Intervention Plans. Knowledge of crisis management is preferred. The successful candidate will be responsible for: Providing short term counseling through MTSSAssist teachers in creating Individual Support Plans for studentsCoordinate FBAsDevelop BIPsWork collaboratively with colleagues and administration The qualified candidates must possess NYS certification in Psychology, Special Education or related fields.
