ANNOUNCEMENT OF ANTICIPATED VACANCYPOSITION: School Psychologist.AVAILABLE: September 1, 2025.DUTIES: Serve as the district’s school psychologist, which includes the following responsibilities: • Provide individual, small group, and/or whole class counseling, instruction, mentoring, and support with social, emotional, and behavioral needs.• Promote wellness and resilience in students by reinforcing communication and social skills, problem solving, anger management, self-regulation, self-determination, and optimism.• Complete evaluations, FBAs, and BIPs as assigned by the CSE office, and attend CPSE/ CSE meetings as required.• Collaborate with staff and attend building committees to address student needs through the MTSS process..QUALIFICATIONS: Must have appropriate certification and pass fingerprint/background check by NY State Education Department. .REPORTS TO: Building Administrator, Director of Curriculum and Student Services, and Superintendent.WORKS WITH: Students, faculty, administration, parents and community.SALARY: Approximately $50,820-$94,097 (Salary will be commensurate with prior experience in NYS schools.).APPLICATIONS: Please send letter of interest, resume and copy of certification to OLAS.DEADLINE: June 5, 2025
