ANNOUNCEMENT OF VACANCYPOSITION: Long-term Substitute Library Media Specialist (7-12) . AVAILABLE: Approximately May 28, 2025 through approximately June 26, 2025 . DUTIES: Provide for diverse student needs in resources and instruction; work with teachers to plan and implement curriculum that integrates library resources with classroom instruction; educate students in research writing; familiarity with national and state standards for informational literacy and technology; access support services from HFM BOCES SLS; carry our other duties as may, from time to time, be assigned by the building principal or superintendent. . QUALIFICATIONS: NYS Library Media Specialist certification required; and pass fingerprint/background check by NY State Education Department. .REPORTS TO: Building Principals, and Superintendent.WORKS WITH: Students, faculty, staff, administration and parents.
