ANNOUNCEMENT OF ANTICIPATED VACANCY POSITION: Library Media Specialist (PK-12) AVAILABLE: September 1, 2024 DUTIES: Provide for diverse student needs in resources and instruction; work with teachers to plan and implement curriculum that integrates library resources with classroom instruction; educate students in research writing; familiarity with national and state standards for informational literacy and technology; access support services from HFM BOCES SLS; carry our other duties as may, from time to time, be assigned by the building principal or superintendent. QUALIFICATIONS: NYS Library Media Specialist certification required and pass fingerprint/background check by NY State Education Department. REPORTS TO: Building Principals, and Superintendent WORKS WITH: Students, faculty, staff, administration and parents SALARY: Approximately $46,537-$86,167 (Salary will be commensurate with prior experience in NYS schools.)
