ANNOUNCEMENT OF VACANCY POSITION: Long-term Substitute Elementary Music Teacher AVAILABLE: September 1, 2024 through approximately January 2, 2025 DUTIES: Serve as the classroom teacher at the level assigned and assume all of the classroom teacher providing instruction, managing the classroom environment and promoting student learning in the absence of the regular classroom teacher; carry our other duties as may, from time to time, be assigned by the building principal or superintendentQUALIFICATIONS: Must possess appropriate education and certification; pass fingerprint/background check by NY State Education Department.REPORTS TO: Building Administrators and SuperintendentWORKS WITH: Students, staff, faculty, administration, parents and communitySALARY: As per the 2024-2025 substitute rates ($120/day to $243.15/day depending on NYS certification.)
