Process human resource info. on appointments, separations, promotions, increases, benefits, into a database. Assure accuracy of data and human resource records. Answer questions concerning collective bargaining agreement, payroll, benefits, leave of absence and workers' compensation among others Resolve human resource transactions discrepancies including unusual or difficult issues. Prepare original correspondence to employees, human resources information system. Prepare reports using computer-based applications to create spreadsheets, manipulating data as needed. Maintain electronic and hard copy files and records as required. Helps ensure compliance with all applicable federal and state laws, including FLSA, ERCA, ADA, FMLA, Titel IX, Cobra, Hippa among others. Participate in the implementation of upgrades or new software systems pertaining to human resources information systems, including payroll, benefits or other component systems. Provide back-up to other Human Resource staff. Perform other duties as assigned consistent with the goals and responsibilities of this position and as directed by the Director of Human Resources and his/her designee.
