The Springs Union Free School District is seeking a K-8 Music and Chorus Teacher Probationary Position to begin August 30, 2023.Springs School is dedicated to the Fine Arts. Each year our 4th grade students write, compose and perform an Opera. Our Middle School students participate in a musical each year. The district is committed to building a music program that provides students with a love and appreciation of music, exposing them to different instruments including piano, ukulele, drums and recorder. - Experience with planning, implementing and assessing student growth in music curriculum grades K-8- Ability to play piano and other instruments- Plan and conduct concerts grades 4-8- Facilitate students to write their own music Previous applicants are still being considered and do not need to reapply.
