Springs School Principal Vacancy Announcement Springs UFSD is a one building Pre-K through 8th grade school district located on the East End of Long Island. The school is located in the hamlet of Springs, in the Town of East Hampton. There are approximately 700 students enrolled in Pre K-8. Once students graduate from 8th grade, Springs School pays tuition to East Hampton High School.Springs UFSD seeks a dynamic, collaborative and energetic individual who is committed to developing knowledge, skills, and practices to create a culturally responsive learning and working environment. Candidates must possess a strong knowledge of instruction and evaluation, technology, behavior management, data analysis and data-informed decision making. Their beliefs must support high expectations and ethics for all students and employees.NYS certification as a School Building Leader required. It is preferred that the successful candidate should have a minimum of five (5) years of teaching experience and three (3) or more years as an educational leader preferably in an elementary/middle school building.POSITION OBJECTIVE: To plan and implement the educational program through the application of leadership, supervisory, and management skills to ensure each student’s academic and social-emotional growth.
