MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: NYS Certification in Elementary Education K-6 and/or Special Education K-6 and/or Literacy K-6. Applicants must be appropriately certified prior to the start of employment. DESIRABLE QUALIFICATIONS: Strong working knowledge of instructional practices and literacy interventions aligned with the science of reading Skilled in the use of Fundations, Heggerty, UFLI Foundations, Eureka Math, Wilson Just Words, and/or Wilson Reading Experience with RtI and progress monitoring students Experience providing small group instruction in math and/or reading Knowledge of Google Classroom and instructional technology Experience working with elementary students AIS or classroom teaching experience Bilingual communication skills Dual certification APPLICANTS ARE REQUIRED TO HOLD A CURRENT TEACHING CERTIFICATION SALARY RANGE: As per STA Contract LOCATION: District Elementary Schools EFFECTIVE: 8/31/2026 APPLY BY: 8/14/2026 Teacher Assistant positions are full-time and include benefits.
