The successful candidate will be responsible for all aspects of Speech/Language service delivery to a caseload of classified students. Responsibilities include but are not limited to evaluation responsibilities, goal development based on areas of student deficit, data collection, written reports and communication with staff and parents to support language needs of assigned students.Minimum Qualifications:New York State certification in TSSLD or CCC-CLD.Applicants must be appropriately certified prior to start of employment.Desirable Qualifications:3+ years of experience in the field of Speech/Language services.Additional foreign language proficiency or direct work with English Language Learners preferredInvolvement in appropriate State and national organizations.Demonstrated ability to work effectively and cooperatively with others.Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.Bilingual communication skills.Applications for the above position are to be made by submitting a cover letter including the posting number, two professional references and a resume on OLAS addressed to Neil D.
