MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: NYS Certification in K-12 Technology Education. Applicants must be appropriately certified prior to the start of employment. DESIRABLE QUALIFICATIONS: Prior experience in a middle school or high school setting. Responsible for teaching PLTW Gateway and DDP/Engineering courses as well as technology literacy courses in the secondary schools. Willingness to participate in extracurricular activities, such as Robotics at both the middle and high school level. Involvement in appropriate State and national organizations. Familiarity with various CAD software programs and use of 3D printers and laser cutters. Understanding of computer programming and Robotics. Comfortable with the use of tools and machinery. Willingness to work as part of an instructional team. Knowledge of Google classroom and instructional technology. Bilingual communication skills.
