Date: June 4, 2026 Posting #: CP 3023 ANNOUNCEMENT OF VACANCY: PART-TIME TUTOR - HIGH SCHOOL EAST The successful candidate will be responsible for implementation of student testing accommodations and push-in AIS support. Must possess a strong commitment to upholding instructional rigor and supporting the diverse academic needs of high school students. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: New York State Certification in a secondary content area (English Language Arts 7-12, Mathematics 7-12 or Social Studies 7-12) and/or Students with Disabilities (7-12). Applicants must be appropriately certified prior to the start of employment. DESIRABLE QUALIFICATIONS: Experience working with high school students in small groups, testing or alternative environments. Familiarity with NYS Regents exam accommodations and specialized testing procedures. Knowledge of Google Classroom, instructional technology, and digital assessment tools. Experience implementing specific IEP/504 accommodations. Demonstrated ability to work effectively, empathetically, and cooperatively with colleagues and administration to foster a culture of belonging. Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing. Bilingual communication skills are highly preferred. Willingness to participate in extracurricular activities.
