Position: Sr HS Global Studies TeacherSouthern Cayuga CSD is seeking a full-time 1.0 tenure track Secondary Social Studies Teacher to join our team starting in September 2023. This tenure track position will include teaching two 10th grade Global II, AP World History, and 9th grade Global I Honors. These class units of study may be found using this link to the curriculum map page.START DATE: September 5, 2023 GENERAL REQUIREMENTS: The candidate should have:NYS Certification, Secondary Social Studies (7-12).Explicit knowledge of NYS Secondary Social Studies standards and understanding of data collection on priority standards.Effective communication skills to engage students, parents, colleagues and the school community as a whole.
