The Scarsdale Schools are seeking a dynamic and innovative candidate for a K-5 Library Media Specialists at Greenacres Elementary School. Greenacres spans grades K-5, and has an enrollment of roughly 350 students. We offer rich and varied educational programs, along with an active, supportive parent body. The successful candidate will have an expansive knowledge of child and adolescent, text, fiction and non-fiction and demonstrate the ability to collaborate effectively with students and faculty whilst maintaining a welcoming and engaging learning space. Qualified candidates will possess appropriate NYS certification. Individuals holding another certification but working toward or planning to work toward the Library Media Specialist credential may be considered.Scarsdale Public Schools is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
