Position: Secondary School Social Worker Leave Replacement Location: Sayville High School Salary: $140 per day plus applicable differentials Qualifications: NYSED School Social Worker Certification Start Date: Approximately October 5, 2026 through November 24, 2026 Sayville Public Schools is seeking a dedicated and skilled social worker to serve and support the academic, social, and emotional success of our high school students. The building social worker will provide individual and group counseling, deliver targeted social-emotional supports, and collaborate with educators, families, and related service providers to meet the needs of all learners. This role plays a key part in character education, helping students develop resilience, empathy, self-regulation, and positive decision-making skills.
