Sayville UFSD is located on Long Island’s south shore, and is a PreK-12 district with 700 employees who proudly serve 2,700 students. Sayville is seeking an educational leader who will bring exceptional experience and abilities to our district beginning in July of 2023.Qualifications;-An experienced, child-centered educator who can inspire staff to build upon the highest standards, to provide the best opportunities for our students’ personal and academic growth -Proven record as an accomplished and decisive educational leader; strategic thinker, and the ability to balance day-to-day management with the execution of long term district goals-Ability to develop district-wide curriculum and assume the leadership role in all curriculum planning by chairing or assigning chairpersons for district-wide curriculum committees-Coordinate the identification, development, implementation, evaluation, review and revision of all instructional programs in all schools, PreK-12-Oversee coordination, implementation, and review of state and local testing programs-Report on the status of district programs and services at the request of the superintendent, including state and federal reports as assigned-Assist with the interpretation of district programs, testing results, and strategic initiatives-Coordinate the district’s summer school and remediation programs-Supervisory responsibility for all instructional programs-Serve as the district’s DASA coordinator and Chief Information Officer-Guide the continuation of the APPR Plan, differentiated instruction, RTI & DASA -Collaborate with the administrative team, PTA, SEPTA, district committees and BOE-Doctorate and Central Office experience preferred-Appropriate NYSED School District certification requiredSalary: Commensurate with experienceApplication Process: Sayville School District is anticipating a vacancy as noted above.
