The successful candidate will deliver instruction aligned with the New York State Learning Standards for Health Education in a supportive and inclusive learning environment.Responsibilities:Design and deliver engaging, student-centered health education instruction for high school studentsImplement instructional practices aligned with NYS Health Education Learning StandardsFoster a safe, inclusive classroom environment that supports student voice, wellness, and respectUse formative and summative assessments to monitor student learning and guide instructionDifferentiate instruction to meet the needs of diverse learnersPromote health literacy, responsible decision-making, and lifelong wellness skillsDemonstrate effective classroom management and positive relationship-building skillsCollaborate with colleagues, counselors, families, and support staff to support student well-beingParticipate in professional learning, school initiatives, and departmental collaborationApplication Process: Sayville Schools is anticipating a vacancy as noted above.
