Positions:Summer 2024 Related Service Provider:CSE/504 Chair(s); Physical Therapist(s); Psychologist(s); Regular Education Teacher(s); Special Education Teacher(s); Speech Therapist(s); Social Worker(s)Qualifications: Appropriate New York State License/Certification Effective Date: July 1, 2022 Essential Functions:Providing IEP recommended testing, and/orProviding IEP therapy sessions, and/or Attending CSE/504 meetings, and/or Developing CSE student schedules, and/or Chairing CSE/504 meetingsKnowledge, Skills and Abilities:Knowledge of current therapy methods/protocols and educational pedagogy.Extensive knowledge of related service and/or specialty area. Knowledge of applicable federal and state laws regarding education of students with disabilities. Ability to use computer network system and software applications (i.e. IEP Direct) as needed.Ability to organize and coordinate work. Ability to communicate effectively with staff, students and parents, and to prepare oral or written communications and/or reports. Ability to engage in self-evaluation with regard to performance and professional growth. Ability to establish and maintain cooperative working relationships with students, staff, parents, community groups and others contacted in the course of work.
