BEHAVIORAL THERAPISTRequired NYS Certifications: Candidate must be a board-certified behavior analyst (BCBA) with a certification in applied behavior analysis (ABA). Experience working with students with autism, developmental delays, and attentional concerns. Responsibilities of the BCBA: Work collaboratively with the team to address the needs of students with behavioral concernsMeeting with staff to observe and assess student behaviorConduct Functional Behavioral Assessments (FBA) Develop Behavior Intervention Plans (BIP) Meeting with families, teachers, clinicians, or administrators to discuss the recommended ways to address behavioral issuesDeveloping individual plans to correct, maintain or improve certain behaviorsHelping students to set and meet behavior goalsAttend CSE Meetings Keeping detailed records of meetings and progress Develop goals for the IEPUsing methods to correct or reduce aggressive, harmful and anti-social behaviors and to encourage positive behaviorsSALARY: Salary commensurate with experiencePursuant to RTA Collective Bargaining Agreement and District Policyapply for this POSITION by completing a cover letter,resume and applicationThe Roosevelt UFSD is an equal opportunity employer.
