Roslyn High School Probationary Research Teacher Roslyn High School is seeking an experienced research teacher that will support the high school’s research initiatives in all fields including the behavioral, computer, engineering, life, mathematical, physical, and social sciences fostering a culture of inquiry and innovation. The role includes managing participation in local and national research competitions, leading and supporting research staff in mentoring students, and ensuring the program's alignment with school goals and community needs. The coordinator will be in charge of student recruitment and retention as well as ongoing program evaluation and development. Date: 2026-2027 School Year Position Requirements: Strong leadership, organizational, and mentoring skills and experience working with both students and fellow staff Knowledgeable about and interested in a wide variety of fields Extensive knowledge of local and national research competitions Skilled in using one or more statistical analysis packages Valid New York State teacher certification Preferred Qualifications: Record of publications in related fields 3+ years working a high school STEM research program since 2021 (post COVID) Experience with machine learning Location: Roslyn High School Compensation: Per RTA Contract
