Rockland BOCES has an anticipated opening for a Director of Learning, Innovation and Diversity.POSITION: Director of Learning, Innovation and Diversity Qualifications/Responsibilities:Ability to engage and work collaboratively with staff, parents, community members and other stakeholdersExperience working with school teams to improve educational outcomes for students through analysis of school wide dataExpertise in building systems to support students with disabilitiesExperience working with school teams collaborating on action plans that target curricula initiativesDefine critical issues, identify resource requirements, assist in setting goals focused on student achievement growth in particular for students with disabilitiesSupport use of assessment to impact unit design and lesson design within the classroomAssist with special studies, projects and grantsSupervise development of data for effective monitoring of progress toward goals and measurable targets; supporting school-based achievement teams with relevant information and dataDevelop and support instructional learning and resources for culturally sustaining/relevant curriculum and instructionStrong management, organizational and problem-solving skillsExcellent interpersonal and communication skills (oral and written) CERTIFICATION: NYS Certification in SBL, SAS, or SDA required Bilingual and/or Minority Candidates are encouraged to apply.
