The Red Hook Central School District seeks an innovative Math-Computer Science Teacher to develop and instruct introductory, advanced, and interdisciplinary computer science courses at the secondary level with a start date of September 1, 2024. The ideal candidate will be responsible for teaching students to utilize technology and understand its practical intersection with society. They will use their skills to provide students with engaging learning opportunities, sustain an inclusive environment, build strong relationships with students, and teach to students across a range of academic abilities and identities. They will also be responsible for collaborating to help grow the Computer Science program at Red Hook. Qualifications:A bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science or Technology-related field from an accredited college or universityHold a NYSED Certification in Computer SciencePractical understanding of coding and programming, JavaScript, AI/ChatGPT, Python Applicants must upload the following: cover letter, resume, 3 letters of recommendation, copy of certification(s), and copy of college transcript(s).
