QUALIFICATIONS:Master’s Degree in Education and/or Educational AdministrationNew York State Certification as a School Building LeaderThree or more years of classroom and/or administrative experience at the secondary level. RESPONSIBILITIES: Provide instructional leadership to support high academic standards and a positive school climate Supervise and evaluate staff to ensure effective instruction aligned with NYS standards Manage daily school operations, including scheduling, student discipline, and building safety Use data to drive decision-making and develop plans to improve student achievement Promote equity and ensure access to rigorous, supportive learning experiences for all students Ensure compliance with district policies, state regulations, and education law Lead professional development and guide staff growth through observations and feedback Build strong relationships with students, families, staff, and community partners Oversee school-level budgeting, resource planning, and facility management Other duties as assigned
