The Ravena-Coeymans-Selkirk Central School District is seeking a highly qualified and detail-oriented District Treasurer to assist the Business Administrator with managing the financial operations of the District. The District Treasurer is responsible for safeguarding district funds, ensuring compliance with New York State laws and regulations, and supporting the fiscal integrity and long-term financial health of the District.Key ResponsibilitiesServe as custodian of all district funds, including general, special, trust, and capital fundsReceive, safeguard, and disburse district monies in accordance with Board of Education policies and New York State Education LawMaintain accurate and timely financial records and accountsPrepare and manage cash flow analyses and investment activitiesEnsure compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulationsAssist with budget development, financial reporting, and annual external auditsPrepare required financial reports for the Board of Education, New York State Education Department, and other regulatory agenciesOversee payroll processing and related reporting, as assignedCollaborate with the Business Administrator, Superintendent, and other administrative staff on fiscal planning and operationsPerform other related duties as assigned by the Business Administrator or designeeMinimum QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related fieldDemonstrated knowledge of governmental or school district accounting principlesStrong organizational, analytical, and communication skillsProficiency with financial management systems and accounting softwarePreferred QualificationsPrior experience as a school district treasurer or in public-sector financial management Experience with New York State school district finance and reporting requirementsIFor more information about the Ravena-Coeymans-Selkirk Central School District, please visit www.rcscsd.orgSalary Range: $65,000 to $90,000 (commensurate with qualifications and experience)Application Deadline:January 11, 2026
