SALARY: Commensurate with experienceHOURS: Full-Time, 12 Months per yearESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:• Organize and manage the routine work activities in the Superintendent’s office to include receiving visitors, scheduling appointments, and keeping appointment calendar for the Superintendent• Receive incoming calls to the District from staff and public, take reliable messages, and route all to appropriate staff• Prepare correspondence, forms, reports for presentations, etc. for the Superintendent, answer e-mails when instructed to do so by the Superintendent• Compile, organize, and submit information for preparing various reports for the Superintendent• Compile District job postings• Maintain Policy Manual updates• Maintain confidentiality of information• Coordinate workshops, retreats, and meetings, involving the Superintendent’s leadership role• Serve as Records Management Officer for the District• Maintain positive environment with all building personnel to assist the Superintendent with maintaining a team management approach• Perform tasks and assume responsibilities as assigned by the Superintendent• Prepare the Board of Education agenda and packet• Prepare and post official board agenda, records, and minutes of meetings.• Provide miscellaneous services such as making reservations and arrangements for Board members to attend school-related events and trainings.• Perform other position-related duties as provided by law or the Board of Education.• Administer Sick Leave Bank• Audit payrolls as necessary• Keep outside electronic sign updated• Enter F-1 student information on SEVIS for International Student Program• Access TEACH website for various reasons• Enter BEDS information electronically for schools and district• Work with Data Coordinator in areas of APPR and other data collection activities
