Grant funded position for five years utilizing the ESSA Title IV part b, 21st Century grant and other state and federal grant funds.General Position Description: The Community School Director (CS Director) is responsible for the day-to-day management of a community school strategy. The CS Director will be responsible for building and maintaining relationships with administration, faculty, staff, and students as the “community organizer” of the school and community. The CS Director will create, strengthen, and maintain the bridge between the school and community.This person will also be responsible for coordinating the districts strategic planning initiative for Diversity, Equity & Inclusion Coordinator.Requirements: NYS Fingerprint Clearance, NYS Teacher Certification or equivalent experience, NYS District or Building Leader Certification or equivalent experience.
