Elementary Classroom Teacher – Probationary Position Quogue Elementary School is seeking a dedicated, student-centered New York State–certified Elementary Teacher for a full-time probationary classroom teaching position. The successful candidate will demonstrate a commitment to academic excellence, collaboration, and creating an engaging, inclusive learning environment that supports the success of every student. Elementary certification and Reading certification preferred. Required Qualifications: Valid New York State Childhood Education (Grades 1–6) Certification Preferred Qualifications: Experience teaching at the elementary level Strong classroom management and instructional skills Experience differentiating instruction to meet the needs of diverse learners, including English Language Learners (ENL) and students with Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) Knowledge of New York State Learning Standards and evidence-based instructional practices Ability to use assessment data to inform instruction and support student growth Excellent collaboration, communication, and organizational skills Commitment to fostering a supportive, inclusive, and engaging classroom environment Experience working collaboratively in grade-level or interdisciplinary teams Knowledge of Social-Emotional Learning (SEL) frameworks and practices Strong familiarity with technology integration in the classroom, including Google, artificial intelligence (AI) tools, and other instructional technologies Proficiency in project-based learning and enrichment activities that develop students' research skills, critical thinking, creativity, and presentation abilities Master's degree in Education or a relevant content area preferred Quogue Elementary School is a single-building PreK–6 school district committed to academic excellence and the development of the whole child.
