The Quogue Union Free School District is seeking a dedicated and student-centered Speech-Language Pathologist to provide comprehensive speech and language services to students in grades PreK–6. The successful candidate will join a collaborative team of educators and related service providers committed to supporting the academic, communication, and social-emotional development of all learners. Responsibilities Provide individual and group speech-language therapy services in accordance with students’ IEPs. Conduct speech-language evaluations and prepare comprehensive reports. Develop, implement, and monitor measurable IEP goals and objectives. Participate in CSE and CPSE meetings and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams. Maintain accurate service logs, progress reports, and Medicaid documentation as required. Collaborate with classroom teachers, special education staff, parents, and related service providers to support student success. Utilize evidence-based practices and appropriate assistive technology and AAC strategies when needed. Support inclusive educational programming and contribute to a positive school climate. Maintain compliance with New York State regulations and district procedures. Qualifications Required New York State License in Speech-Language Pathology. New York State Teacher of Students with Speech and Language Disabilities (TSSLD) certification. ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) or eligibility to obtain. Knowledge of special education regulations, IEP development, and CSE processes. Strong communication, organizational, and collaborative skills. Preferred Experience providing services to preschool and school-age students. Experience conducting evaluations and developing individualized treatment plans. Familiarity with Frontline or similar IEP management systems. Experience with AAC systems, PECS, and evidence-based intervention strategies. Knowledge of inclusive practices and multidisciplinary collaboration. Experience chairing CSE meetings.
