New position for the 2023-24 school year. Questar III BOCES is seeking a full time College Support Literacy Teacher to work with high school students at the Questar III STEM High School located on the campus of HVCC in Troy, NY.This position will provide support during study periods, communicate with college professors and parents. Instruction will be provided to assist students in breaking down college level reading and writing tasks. Forming relationships with the support services available at the college and connecting students to these services is an essential role for this position. STEM High School is a rigorous program that is geared towards real world problem solving skills, forging connections with industry professionals, and exposing students to 21st century skills. Innovative teachers who enjoy working in a team environment are ideal candidates. Candidates should hold NYS certification in the areas of Literacy or ELA.
