We believe that organizational excellence is best achieved when leadership is reflective of our diverse society.About the JobQuestar III BOCES announces a full-time(6-week summer program) School Social Worker position to support Questar III special education students during ESY located at our following School Locations:George Washington School (Troy)Marilyn A. Noonan School (Durham)Paul Puccio School at Maple Hill (Schodack)Rensselaer Academy (Rensselaer)Sackett Educational Center (Castleton-on-Hudson)Questar III’s social work service provides individual and group counseling for students with school adjustment challenges. This service includes crisis intervention, transition plans, consultation, case management and coordination and facilitation of home-school communication. Extended Summer Year (ESY) Schedule is as follows:July 2, 2026 - Orientation Day - All DayJuly 7, 2026 – August 14, 2026 – 6 weeksMonday through Friday, 8am - 2:30 pmRequirements:Proper NYS School Social Work certification requiredPreferred candidates will have their NYS clinical license and have experience working with special education students.For more information on Questar III and our programs, please visit www.questar.org.
