Teacher Aide(s)Anticipated PositionsThe Putnam Valley Central School District is seeking candidates for full-time teacher aide vacancies to support students and faculty throughout the school day. Incumbents will provide academic support, supervision, guidance, and assistance when necessary in classrooms and in other school areas.The preferred candidates should have experience working with students in an educational setting. This position includes a competitive salary for a 10-month position; comprehensive health, dental, and vision insurance coverage; optional summer work; paid snow days; paid sick and personal time; and participation in the New York State pension system. The position follows the school calendar – September through June (184 days per year). Work is completed Monday through Friday, and the anticipated work hours are: 8:30 AM - 3:30 PM or 7:40 AM - 2:40 PM. Salary Range is: $20.39 - $32.34 per hour.Civil Service minimum qualifications: Graduation from high school or possession of a high school equivalency diploma.Our students are smart, funny and a pleasure to work with.
