Anticipated PositionSpecial Education TeacherOne-Year Leave ReplacementThe Putnam Valley Central School District has an anticipated vacancy for a one-year leave replacement special education teacher to provide specialized instruction to students with disabilities, grades K-4, in a small class setting. Qualifications:ABA Board Certified Behavior Analyst/NYS Licensed Behavior Analyst preferred, or experience with implementing ABA methods.Knowledge of VB-MAPP and ABLLS-R preferred.Knowledge of TEACCH, discrete-trial, free-operant, and naturalistic teaching arrangements preferred.New York State Students with Disabilities 1-6 required; Students with Disabilities 7-9 extension helpful.Salary is as per the PVFT collective bargaining agreement. Salary Range is:Bachelors Degree: minimum $59,380, midpoint $77,714, maximum $99,350Masters Degree: minimum $67,693, midpoint $95,879, maximum $127,339Excellent health, dental, vision, and life insurance options.
