English as a New Language (ENL) Teacher Long-Term Sub Anticipated March 2026 Putnam Valley Central School District : The Putnam Valley Central School District has a long-term vacancy for an ENL teacher to provide instruction to students grades 5 through 8. Responsibilities: Responsibilities include providing instruction to non-English speaking students, grades 5-8. Planning and delivering lessons; designing and producing teaching materials; assessing student performance and progress; maintaining records; coordinating with fellow teachers, assistants and other professionals; attending meetings; providing advice in developing lesson plans, and performing other tasks assigned. Certification : New York State TESOL certification is required. Bilingual (Spanish/English) preferred. Salary : Substitute pay range: $130 - $175 per day. Effective : This anticipated long-term assignment will begin March 2026.
