Anticipated PositionSpeech Language Therapist(Part Time/.40 FTE)The Putnam Valley Central School District has an anticipated vacancy for a part-time speech/language therapist to deliver mandated individual and group speech/language services to students grades K-12. Candidates must possess a thorough understanding of developmental language and learning needs as well as appropriate interventions and strategies for students with a range of disabilities; and highly effective delivery of mandated individual and group speech/language services.Appropriate NYS Speech certification required; Teacher of the Speech and Hearing Handicapped (TSHH), and Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred. Experience working with AAC devices preferred.This part-time position follows the school calendar with an anticipated start date of September 1, 2023.The salary is as per the PVFT collective bargaining agreement. Salary Range is:Bachelors Degree: minimum $56,034, midpoint $73,261, maximum $97,402.Masters Degree: minimum $63,924, midpoint $92,156, maximum $117,642.(Salary will be pro-rated for part-time employment.)Sick and personal time available.
