School CounselorThe Putnam Valley Central School District has an anticipated vacancy for a school counselor to support middle school students grades 5 through 8. This probationary appointment is anticipated for September 2024.Responsibilities include: supporting students in grades 5-8 with academic schedules, classroom lessons, and social programs; provide support to the entire student body as needed; collaborate and communicate with parents; and other duties as determined by administration. Preference will be given to bilingual candidates who are fluent in Spanish.Appropriate NYS school counselor certification is required.Salary is as per the PVFT collective bargaining agreement. Salary Range is:Bachelor's Degree: minimum $60,568, midpoint $76,221, maximum $101,337Master’s Degree: minimum $69,047, midpoint $97,797, maximum $129,886Excellent health, dental, vision, and life insurance options.
