Anticipated PositionTeacher - General and Special Education, Grades 5 and 6 Long-Term SubstituteProvide Math AIS (Academic Intervention Services) for students in grades 5 and 6; and special education instruction to students, grades 6 in the Humanities areas (English Language Arts and Social Studies). Knowledge of the New York State Learning Standards, effective classroom management techniques, strong instructional skills, and effective teaching strategies are necessary.New York State General Education 1 - 6, and Special Education 1 - 6 certifications are required.This position follows the school calendar. Anticipated dates are September 22, 2023 - December 18, 2023. (12 weeks-approx.)Daily substitute rate of pay $130 - 150/day.
