Bus Monitor - $16.52The Putnam Valley Central School District has an anticipated vacancy for a bus monitor. Incumbent will assist with student transport to/from school on the school bus. May operate a lift, secure restraint devices, and wheelchair locks to load and unload student passengers with disabilities. The ability to work with students with disabilities is desirable; experience with usage of restraint devices helpful; must be able to pass the Physical Performance Test (PPT); and assist bus or van drivers in the event of emergencies. Perform a variety of related activities as required. A high school diploma is also desirable. This position follows the school calendar.
