ANTICIPATED OPENING 2026-2027 Leave Replacement-Full Year (.5 Middle School Special Education Teacher/.4 Elementary RR) Dates: 8/31/2026-6/30/2027 Job Description: The Plainview-Old Bethpage Central School District is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic NYS ALL GRADES Certified Special Education Teacher for the 2026-2027 school year. The role involves supporting elementary and middle school students with IEPs, collaborating with instructional staff and maintaining compliance with all special education requirements. The position is at Stratford Road Elementary School and is an excellent opportunity for educators passionate about teaching Special Education. Qualifications: - Provide direct consult/indirect consult and resource room - Familiarity with running IEP goals - Familiarity with collecting and analyzing goal data - Present student progress at CSE meetings - Valid NYS Certification in Students with Disabilities 1-6 or SWD All Grades - Experience teaching elementary school students preferred - Strong interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate with colleagues Location: Stratford Road Elementary School/H.B.
